I woke up to a gray cloudy sky. I hardly noticed but it was raining hard. The sea water was also now up to my waist. I quickly jumped up and ran to the jungle under a tree. I watched the storm roll in as if I was so interested and couldn't keep my eyes off of the rain. I ran out into the rain and opened my mouth. Some fresh water. I grabbed a leaf off a small tree with big green leaves. I folded it into the shape of a bowl as best as I could. I caught some rainwater inside of it and drank it before it slithered out and onto the dry sandy ground. Then I drank water for about thirty minutes or so. I was so thirsty. I would have to make something out of resources later that caught watered and stored it. If it didn't rain alot, it was okay. I had fruit. Which was juicy and had some water in it. I'm not sure if that would be good enough though. The storm stayed for the whole day. It was a perfect time to catch water. I never knew when it would rain again. Just as I was walking under a tree, a streak of lightning hit the ground and the sky rumbled with noise. I jumped a bit and walked towards the left. I ran deeper into the jungle. A jungle as big as this was easy to get lost in. It was suddenly like the storm was gone. The tall trees and long vines covered up the rain. I was pretty deep now. I couldn't see the beach where I first crawled up to. It was nice to not see water. Just some nice green leaves and boulders. The vines stretched out very far. I noticed alot of bugs. Spiders mostly. I was mainly looking for something to use as a resource to live. Anything at all. The jungle seemed empty. I hoped and prayed that there were some nice animals that lived here to keep me company. I would go crazy if I didn't have anyone. I was already losing my mind pretty much. It's been one two days on this island. But I missed my family early now. I missed being near humans. The sound of a human's voice right now besides mine would be amazing. I kept walking deeper into the jungles of this island. Right as I was walking past a very very tall tree trunk, something jumped out in front of me. It was a monkey was my first thought. My heart raced out of excitment and fear. "Hi there little guy." The monkey tilted his head at me and stood on his two's. I crouched down. The monkey went on his four's again. I stood up. The monkey went on his two's. I giggled out loud. I could get use to him.
