Here Goes Nothing...

Poetry By: Jethro
Action and adventure

A poem about another favorite video game series of mine called Uncharted. In Uncharted, Nathan Drake goes through hell only to ever come up empty handed. What I've always admired about Drake, however, is his perseverance and will to fight on no matter how bad things get.

Endless sand

Or endless snow,

Bad things come

Where I go.

Light is day,

And black is night.

I am there

Within sight.

Pirate raid

Or army siege,

All I've faced.

All I've seen

With a ring

And with a dream

I will find

The golden gleam.

I will try,

And I will fail,

But my dream

Will set sail.

Lost cities

And lost gold

Will I find

In the cold.

But the sand

And endless snow

Keeps me back,

Keeps me slow.

I will come

And I wont stop

Until I

Stand on top.

I will fail,

But I will try

Even if

I will die.

Here I go

To find something,

I guess here

Goes nothing.
