A poem that will make you think that you are a chess piece moving forward to face and defeat your enemies.

I set out to find a way
Went out, making me astray
I saw myself dressed in white
In a mirror beneath the sun so bright
I met a boy same age as me
He asked me to take him with me
But when I saw his black clothing
I declared that we should be fighting
A clash! Between black and white
Fighting on doing everything to survive
A tear fell in my eyes
Because maybe he thinks I have a heart of ice.
"Wait!" He yelled suddenly.
I was shocked to see him say something to me
I dropped my sword and ran to shake his hand
After all, I'm just a chess piece of this land
