" When I was a puppy you held me in your arms and took me to my new home , you named me prowler and called me your child. Oh how I loved you tickeling my belly and throwing my ball, I especially loved chewing your slippers.

Learning me to walk on a lead took some time I'd never had anything round my neck before but you was my master and knew you would keep me safe , Oh how I loved the long walks you used to take me on, but I wasn't very happy when I heard you say the word bathtime. I Loved the snuggly nights we had, watching tele although I didn't understand what was coming from the box in the corner of the room but hearing you laugh, made my tail thump.

Then you started dissapearing for hours on end, I would sit at the front door and wait for you and when I heard footsteps my tail thudded so hard with excitement. But you wasn't alone a lady came in with you but any friend of my master was also my friend. Although this lady didn't seem to acknoledge me I did my best to make her feel welcome.

You sempt to spend more time with this lady I hardley ever saw you, and when you wasn't there she would put me outside in the pouring rain and leave me there. I watched her through the window sit on our chair, But when I heard your footsteps coming up the drive my heart filled with joy. But you didn't come to see me. You simply left me there.

I'd fetch you my ball but you never threw it, and sleep outside your door at night I'd protect you as you slept let knowone harm you as you were my master.

You made a decision one morning you no longer wanted me, I rolled on my back submmissve please master I am your child remember I am your loyal companion you love me. But there you stood opened the door and kick me out.

Maybe he wants me to take myself for a walk I thought, I took myself in the park for a little while and headed back home. There I saw you get in your car I got excited was you taking me on a trip, you turned round and saw me. But you didn't shout come here boy you simply got in the car and sped off.

I ran after you but the car was too fast I couldn't keep up. Where had you gone master.

I tried to sniff out your tracks but nearly got hit by a car I decided to go back to our home and sit outside until you returned to tell me everything would be ok.

Hours went by and you didn't turn up, a man pulled up in van and got out and put me on a lead. Maybe this was Masters friend taking me to you. He put me in a cage in the back and sped off.

When we came to a stop a nice young lady came to get me she stroked my fur and told me I'd be ok. She led me into a building which smelt of dogs and vets it was very loud and I was very scared. Anouther lady came and put me into a dark room with a bed and gave me some food, I just couldn't eat I'd lost my apetite. Every time someone walked passed my kennel I'd leap at the gate hoping it was you master, but it wasn't although the ladies were very nice to me I yearned to be with you.

One that morbning a lady aproached my gate dressed in blue she put me on a lead and took me into a room and placed me on a table, her soft hand stroked my face everything I had just felt dissapeared as she told I'm so sorry and I'd be going onto a better place where I'd be loved and not ignored a place of love and light I licked her hand. All that matter now was her and I trusted her. She then pulled out a long needle like syrynge and placed it into my leg I felt the coldness of liquid been pumped through my veins, with my last bit of eneregy I thumped my tail then I went to sleep.

My Master I will wait for you until we meet again.
