Please note my work is now on Booksiesilk due to site changes.

Meet Airam

I write purely for fun, it is a hobby!

I wrote my first novel in October 2009 because I was ill in bed and had watched, read and surfed everything. It took me 16 hrs to write WOW! X and I loved every minute of it. Since then I have written several novels, which are all available for you to read on here.

Booksie but it has been experiencing technical difficulties and I have been unable to post my work. Fans have asked that I also post on WATTPAD to ensure they get to finish reading my novels.

My writing style
Sometimes novels like 'Kismet' may seem to have a lot of chapters, however, that is because some are written as scenes and not chapters. Also it is to be broken down into a couple of books in a series but I haven't broken it down on here.

My novels are also written in first person so you can feel the emotion of the characters for yourself. I receive a lot of comments saying 'I just cried all the way through that chapter and I am not usually an emotional person'. That is what I want to happen! I want you swept up in the emotion, laughing one minute, crying or making love the next.

I keep the description basic, as I want you to fill in the blanks. I want your mind to create the scene where I describe a conversation taking place e.g. kitchen or bedroom. I want you to be concerned with the conversation, not the location. It allows you to mould it to your life and to put the characters in surroundings familar to you which hightens your experience.

I may describe a characters hair and eye colour, along side their height and build when I first introduce them but after that I let your mind build the picture. We all fancy different people, we all feel at home in different places and our ideas of romance vary. If we all fancied the same people and liked the same things it would be a pretty boring planet!

I will sometimes reference a song, so you can get a sound track going on in your mind when reading that scene e.g. the song they are dancing to or what is playing in the car. It helps to convey their feelings and the mood. Plus it is also nice to interpret the lyrics into the scene.

The sex scenes are explicit because my books are aimed at adults and we all love the 'dirty bits'. Especially for those of us who remember flicking through a 'Mills and Boon' to get to the saucy bits and dog earing the page so you could show it your friends later. Obviously some scenes are freaker than others! Some of those are at the request of fans who want an S&M scene or kitchen table scene that they can read and then act out with their real life partners but I aonly write it if it matches the story and the characters.

Advice
I have helped other writers with their stories by giving them ideas, not actually ghost writing it for them but giving them several options the story could go in and letting them choose which direction to head. It is great to read what they have developed from those ideas and knowing I helped them overcome their writer's block. I have never suffered with it myself but I think that is because I am not strict with what I want the novel to be about. My characters experience life changing situations and as such their personalities and way of lives develop differently.

My best advice for writers block is don't be afraid to introduce a new character. Think of your story like a car...you're struggling because you took a wrong turn somewhere or are lost. Pull over... Reverse if you have too...because back there somewhere is the road you should have taken. It is not a race! You don't have to keep going straight ahead, the best stories are always full of twists and turns. Be flexible!

I personally never write the characters and story line ahead of the novel and stick to it like glue. Be fluid just write what comes into your head and enjoy the journey. You will be surprised where it takes you.

I write in 'Draft' form and basically brain dump onto a page and post it. If I were to ever send them off for publication I would have to spend a lot of time getting them up to scratch but in the meantime I just hammer them out and post them for a fun.

So 'ENJOY'!

PLEASE ADD YOURSELF AS A FAN so you get the email from Booksie, as this site does not make it easy to go to every fans page to say I have updated.

Thank you for taking the time to read my work and being so supportive. Don't forget my novels are typed at speed e.g an hour to write a chapter and post it on here. I am brain storming as such it is littered with typos. So don't waste your time pointing them out or you will be there all day! Just read and enjoy.
