My life began in a small town in Georgia.  I am a southern girl.  My favorite color is blue.  Blue is the color of the sky and when I look at a blue sky, I feel calm.  Recently, I had the great opportunity to volunteer in a soup kitchen.  In Atlanta, Ga there are many people who need food.  It was a great experience for me to be able to do something to help other people. 

I went to school to be a teacher, however currently I am unemployed.  I think I am at a time in my life when a decision has to be made.  Whether to continue being a teacher or perhaps to make a change and become something else. 

My family is very important to me.  Both of my parents taught me well and cared for me the way parents should.  I'm thankful that I had a great childhood.  I grew up with traditions, like Christmas's at my grandparents' house. 

I am very shy, which is why I think I'd make a good writer.  Sometimes, I can say things in writing that I would otherwise be too nervous to say outloud.
