Born in Toronto ontario, though I don't remember ever living there. We left when I was 2.

Childhood spent in Brighton, Ontario. (It's near Trenton).

Living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia since 2000.

I write poetry because I have moments of severe depression and poetry has helped me sort out my emotions and feelings. In such a depressing time for human beings, poetry helps me look at the world through different eyes. Poetry is how I convince myself that the world is not such a bad place, and that there is still goodness in all humans.

Ultimately I hope to get a book of my own poetry published some day. I owe everything I write to my best friend/roommate, her fiance, and her sister, who have, and continue to, put up with the periods depression and anger brought on by social anxiety and help me through rough times. They are my source of inspiration and encouragement.
