A essay describing the events that happened while the author was on a rowing trip with his family. His dad challenged him and his brother to a race. Though the author won, the parents come back hours later with a amusing, but dark story of why they came so late.

An essay I wrote a few years back for school on the first half of the book Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood, specifically about the way Elaine was treated as a child and how it effected her adult self. I got an A on it.
