I wanted to do a comedy on coming out of the closest. I tried to make the dialogue as realistic as possible. Someone once told me it would be funny to hide in the closest and jump out at a family reunion and say I'm gay.

Mark likes a fib. He also likes Sophie and is desperate to ask her out but he finds it difficult to say the words. Aided by his friends he gets the perfect opportunity. However, a previous date turns up at the wrong time and Mark's dishonesty comes back to haunt him.
A short, five scene play comprsing of six characters, exploring the themes of life and death. I'm sorry that the layout is a bit confusing, but my script writing program didn't translate well to this site.
