A book review of Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe.
I am a freelance, amateur writer, and have recently begun writing short articles, essays, reviews and opinion pieces, mostly non-fiction, based on my views and experiences.
Writing is a powerful medium, as it can change the way we think and look at things. It can change out attitudes. It is a noble activity, fit for the humane, the cultivated mind. It is also curative, though books really exist in the realm of imagination.
Writing takes effort, and requires hard work in continally refining and re-structuring text till every paragraph becomes alluring and captivating to read from its very first line.
