Of all that exists, truth and reality are the most malleable
I am retired now, but much of my adult life has been spent as a Nuclear Submariner..
For the past twenty years or so, I have studied Philosophy Western and Eastern, Religion, Theology, Psychology, Parapsychology, the Esoteric and the Occult. I sometimes use this knowledge in my poetry and short stories. I try to achieve a balance between the different belief systems. I also find the various belief systems to be contradictory and fascinating. My grounding is primarily in the sciences, but I also understand there is much that science is unable to explain, primarily because the scientific method of empirical research is so limiting.. I tend to use music in my poetry and stories because for thousands of years, stories and poetry were always recited to a musical accompaniment.
I have several degrees and a number of graduate diplomas in the fields of philosophy and psychology.
Writing fiction and poetry is a necessary safety valve, which coupled with TM meditation, keeps me "relatively" sane.
