I was born in a small village in northeastern Turkey. Leaving home at sixteen, I traveled to England, where I finished my high school education and attended Hatfield Polytechnic, studying for this B.S. in mechanical engineering. I first came to the U.S. in 1973 as an exchange student, later making the move permanent and becoming a U.S. citizen in 1985. While living in Atlanta, Georgia, I followed my creative yearnings, attending the Alliance Theater School and studying at the SAG Conservatory of Georgia, and earned my Screen Actors Guild card. In 1994, my wife and I moved to Los Angeles. I have continued with my studies at the Roby Theater Company and the Shakespeare Noise Within Theater Workshop. Voice of Conscience is my first novel.
