An Angel's Vigilance

Short Story by Blazer599
Posted: Apr 7, 2013
The guardians of Earth are never restful. Though perhaps,...

I'm a junior writer who's a huge fan of anything fantasy. I very rarely read non-fiction, though in some cases one of my friends will reccommand one to me, in which case I will take the time to read it. Books have been one of my favorite hobbies since I was little, while writing has only entered my life just a little while ago. The few stories I've written have been fanfiction, and I'm eager to break lose of the confines of using someone else's characters and start creating my own. Besides fantasy and sci-fi I don't really have any other preferences, so don't expect to see me writing anything outside of those two genres. My first few stories will undoubtably be below average, so any helpful criticism is welcome. I promise not to cry if you point out a mispelled word. Also, my grammar is really not the best (I have a bad habit of always mixing up then and than), so beware and take note of that. Other than that, I hope at least someone will take the time to read my stories, even if they don't happen to be that good.

Side note: I'm entirely new to this site, and thus have no idea how anything works. Prepare for future stupid questions.

Side note 2: As I said, I love fantasy stories, so if anyone has one they want me to read, just message me. If you can do that on this site. Which you should, I mean it's a site for authors. We gotta be able to talk, right? Or is just a 'write in silence' thing?
