My name is Bluebell and i am a keen writer. It is my lifes ambition to get my stories/poems published. I really love writing but i am also in love with maths and sciences (biology mostly) too. I like languages as well. I have seen quite a lot for my age. I would really like some comments on my stories because i need all the constructive critisism i can. When i am older, i really want to go to Cambridge to study English Lit/creative writing and my English teacher suggested i put up some of my stories/poems online so i could see what other people think. Most of the things i will put up on Booksie are either my school assignments or my person tributes to my very good friend who is really struggling with depression, self mutilation and bullying. She is doing really well with controlling her urge to hurt herself and she is getting so much better but she's finding it so hard. Self harming is like a myth to most people and to be honest when i was younger i thought it was just a fantasy; i didnt realise how common it is! But now ive looked into it and there are so many struggling people out there, alone, fighting for - quite literally - their lives and they are so special and strong. Anyone different is treated as an outcast; i know from experience. Bullying is one of the commonest problems yet nothing is really ever done about it! And there are some people who are just really sad because they have been through terrible experiences in their lives. You may mock them and stereotype them but quite honestly, if you had lived their life, do you really think you would laugh in their face as you do now? Please think about how someone might feel before you insult them because, to you it might be a silly comment but to an overweight person, a snide comment about their weight might just drive them over the edge. Think how you would feel before you speak. Please because you dont realise it but there are so many sad people in this world, so many people who cry themselves to sleep, so many people for whom a razorblade is the answer to everything and above all, so many ignorant people who have no clue what is going on in front of their eyes. As you can tell, i feel really strongly about bullying etc. And if you are reading this and you do self harm etc, please know that you are not alone in this broken world. There is someone out there, waiting to hold you close and tell you they love you. Please do not give up hope. There is hope for everyone; please know that my friend is being helped out of the deep hole she dug herself into and she is loved and so are you. Please know that there is always light, there are always stars shining bright, just sometimes we forget to look up and see the stars above out heads. Keep safe. Please :)xxxxx
