Fay Risner lives with her husband, Harold, on a central Iowa acreage along with their sheep, milk goats, chickens, rabbits and cats. She has one son, Duane. Fay spends a large portion of her time writing now that she has recently retired from working at the Keystone Nursing Care Center as a CNA. She enjoys country life, gardening and fishing. She has sold five stories to Good Old Days magazine and entered numerous short story and essay contests. She has placed many times in those contests.
