Due to the SUMMER ENDING, a PRE-COLLEGE COURSE I have ot take, SUMMER READING, several MUSICAL ENSEMBLES coming to a close, and COLLEGE STARTING UP (Which means moving in) I'm having a struggle getting to reading requests. I apologize to everyone who has been waiting for me to critique them! Please be patient and I will do my best to get to you!
I LIED I'M AMERICAN
REVERIE: EDEN WILL BE UPDATING ONE CHAPTER AT A TIME EVERY MONDAY!!! I WILL STILL REMIND YOU IF YOU ASKED TO BE KEPT UPDATED ON THE STORY!
Hello all, the name's Evan. Please just call me that, it's a lot easier. I'm an on and off writer who really focuses more on music lately but wants to make writing a hobby again. I have all of this old stuff on here, but I wanna start ignoring a lot of that. The dark poetry I have is from a very awkward time where I was coming out of a lot of social issues and hated a lot of people. I still hate people and have my issues, but the writing I have isn't nearly as depressing or cynical; it's self expressive.
Lately I've been on and off with writing and have focused much more on my music. Since I've been so musically active in the past eight months or so, writing went away for a bit and I didn't need it as an outlet. I picked it up again for leisure and now I'm back on track so it doesn't remind me of any of the unfortunate reasons I used it for before. It's 100% fun now; exercising my creativity is my number one priority!
Writing is easiest when you use your heart. If you write something just for the hell of it, it's not going to be nearly as good as something you care about. Everything I write I use as much of my heart as possible because I want everyone who reads it to understand what I feel and what I'm thinking. Hey, open it for interpretatioin if you can. I don't care.
BANDS I SUGGEST YOU LISTEN TO
So if you're here, please read and comment on my stuf. It would mean the world to me =P Thank you!
Seriously, add me. I got nobody to talk to anymore on MSN D;
To be quite honest, I don't read legit books that much. When I write, I just stick to myself and usually envision everything like a comic book. I want actions scenes to reflect that and actually progress like a comic would. It just has a better flow to it in my eyes. But I were going to pick authors, Cormac McCarthy, J.K. Rowling, Christopher Paolini, and J.R.R. Tolkien would be my favorites.
I also have a very short attention span. So keep that in mind.
Also please spare me reading romances. If you look at my recent poems, I'm going through an emotionally tough time right now and romance isn't something I really wanna read and be jealous of
IT'S NOTHING PERSONAL AGAINST ANYONE HERE ON THIS SITE! I PROMISE!
YOU FAN ME, I'LL FAN YOU. KTHX.
Every comment I get is special to me. If my response isn't the best in the world, don't think I don't appreciate it. Every comment, be it extremely positive, constructive, or negative, brings a smile to my face. That means SOMEONE is reading my shit. I love you all who leave comments. I absolutely love it and could never thank everyone enough for making my days so much better for just one comment. You all are truly remarkable people =D
