I'm Dana, and I hate writing these bio sort of things, so I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I'm 14 years old - so in ninth grade - and I live in Calgary, Alberta, but I wish I lived on the beautiful West coast of Canada. Oh yeah, I'm a proud Canadian. If I could have a polar bear in my backyard, I would!

I'm bilingual, I go to a French immersion school and I am NOT popular... but that's okay! Once I leave High School, I'm planning on becoming a marine biologist or a writer, or maybe both. I sing and play the guitar, and if I stood a chance in the music world I guess I would want to become a singer, too. Don't get me wrong, I don't suck, but there's always that one person who's a little bit younger and a little bit better.

My sport is soccer - I play 12 months of the year with all my heart! Now, just incase you were wondering how we play soccer in December here in Canada, we play indoor soccer. Look it up! It's actually a lot more fun than outdoor, in my opinion. From the Premier League, Manchester United all the way! La Liga I always cheer for Barcelona, but my soccer idol is Christine Sinclair, captain of team Canada women's soccer team. I love Christine Sinclair because she pushes does what she loves, works hard to be where she is and she's modest. She's turned around how Canadians think about soccer and it would be a dream come true to meet her, forget even kick a ball around with her!
