I love to read. A lot of what I write is either inspired by dreams, or by other things I've read.

I'm a creative person. I have to be doing something, making something, or I'm bored out of my mind.

I like to make jewelry, although I'm not very good at it. I can do the simple stuff, and the pieces I make are usually quite pretty, but I'm still a novice. I mainly stick to earrings - they're pretty simple.

I also paint. I've got several paintings on my wall now, mainly butterflies and flowers, although there is one colorful picture of tropical fish. Ok, they're all paint-by-number, but still. I'm very patient and nitpicky (my manager called me 'detail-oriented' to put it nicely). I also painted my parents' house.

I used to fiddle around with 'arts and crafts' a lot. I had a huge box of glue, paper, glitter, popsicle sticks, etc., that I'd mess around with daily. I wonder where that box got to..

And even before that, when I was in a depressed funk and thought about killing myself daily (i.e., 12 years old and 'goth'), I wrote poetry. Annoying, depressing poetry. I was emo before it was considered cool. Then I grew up.

So Cactus demanded that I post all my poetry on here. I haven't written any for about 5 years now (I tend to focus on short stories and other prose these days), but I'll do it anyway. If you think it stinks as much as I do, comment and let me know!
