Curriculum Area: Art

Activity Title: Drawing Brown Bears

Materials Needed: Patterns of bears, paper, patterns of eyes, nose, mouth, crayons, scissors and pencil

Activity Purpose: Encourage children by telling them about brown bears

Procedures:

1. Have the children sit at art table

2. Give each child a brown bear and some eyes, nose, mouth, paper, crayons and scissors.

3. Have children begin drawing their brown bears and coloring them

Conclusion:  Ask the children where do brown bears live? What do brown bears eat? What color are brown bears?
