Adding and Subtracting Integers
-10 + +5= -5
-10 + +5=
The – sign in front of the 10 means negative 10. The + sign in front of the 5 means positive 5. Use a number line to add +5 to -10. Start at -10 on the number line and move your finger right 5 numbers you should land on -5 and that is your answer.
+5 + -10=__
Now start your finger on +5 and move your finger left 10 spaces so you get -5. And that’s how its done! Now you should get these questions right on the test!
