Hello All,
I feel like my head is going to explode from my puny skull. It's probably been the worst day of my life, ever. Ya'll ready for some mind blowing action and good old sulking? Well, happy birthday to me!
On Thursday(AKA my thirteenth birthday), My mom was all fidgety and nervous, probably the worst I've seen her. I just sat there(waiting for my friends to show) and waited for her to explode like a ticking time bomb. On days like this one, you expect the worst and I saw the worst coming, but she never cracked.
But, before I could finish my examination, the doorbell rang. I opened the door to see my best friend, Julie, standing almost six feet with tight, blonde locks. I embraced her flower smell and invited her in. "I can't believe this, you're thirteen," She remarked a mouth full of minty gum.
"I'm not thirteen yet, I was born at 2:30 pm, it's 1:15 pm," I corrected.
"Oh, shut up girl!" Julie hollered.
PAUSE...
I'll save you the boring dialogue between me and Julie, then it was girl talk now it's not a good memory. I'll skip to the part that actually matters, y'know why I'm so mad. Let's skip to two hours after I turned thirteen, aye?
UNPAUSE........
"C'mon girl, blow out those candles!" Yelled Julie and everyone cheered along. There eyes glittered in the candle light as the anticipated me to blow out the candles. Everyone I loved was there. They all were so proud of me and I felt good.
I huffed and puffed and blew out the candles. Suddenly, the fire disappeared. Through the cheering, I heard one line that I will never forget, the line that changed my life. "We're moving, Leno!" It was Mom's voice, she had exploded folks.
And just like that my birthday was ruined. Thanks for listening to my pathetic life.
To be continued.
