A Stroll in the Park

Childrens stories

This story is based on what happened on Sunday when I went for a walk with my son in the park.

We walked in the park, but my little son tarried.
"I'm tried", he said "And I want to be carried."

He got up on my shoulders but managed somehow,
To pull off some leaves from a low-hanging bough.

He proceeded to rub the leaves into my head.
Now my grey patch is gone; I've a green patch instead.
