Ziggy The Wiggly Eared Puddlegrub Pup
Ziggy the wiggly eared puddlegrub pup
Lives life in an underground zoo,
Shyly hiding away from the flutterbug grubs,
And the wooly-winged stingy things too.
-
The reason that freedom for Ziggy has gone,
And the fact that he lives in a zoo,
Is simply because he can no longer quack,
Which puddlegrub pups need to do.
-
For quacking's a puddlegrub pups defence:
Their solitary warning call.
But when attacked from the back, they're unable to quack,
So get stung, then stumble and fall.
-
Ziggy's quack disappeared, when his big wiggly ears
Were spotted, and stung in July.
And a pup that can't quack's always prone to attacks,
And if stung once again, Ziggy'd die.
-
He was stung by a big flock of flutterbug grubs,
And some wooly-winged stingy things too.
Now slowly, he strolls down recovery road
With the vets from the underground zoo.
