I primarily write for children at littlechildrensbookclub.com so thought I might post a few of my poems on here to gauge response. This first one is simply about fairies, being English, fairies are a rich part of our folklore and I write about them quite a lot.
This is a revised version of my poem Which i wrote as a sequel to Baz's lovely poem "The Maiden from a Far-Away Land" My 9 year old granddaughter was with me while I was rewriting the poem and I told her it was for her. She loves it, so I have to post it again just for her.
