Drat! Drat! Drat!
The dog just ate the cat!
The cat did nothing to deserve such a fate,
apart from eating from the dog's plate.
Then, down he sat, washing his paws,
and along came the dog, snapping her jaws!
Snap! Snap! Snap!
Just like that, she swallowed the cat!
Drat! Drat! Drat!
