Little baby watermelons

Very hard to peal

They come in purple and green

 And  are good for a side meal.

Little round circles

With seeds sometimes inside

Watch or you will choke

And we'll watch your eyes turn wide.

Little soft delicates

Don't squeeze them too rough

The juice might get in your eye

And then we'll know we've had enough.

We are just a bunch of kids

Who like these yummy things

We don't ask for much

But when we eat them it's as if we have wings.
