Matilda, Matilda

Matilda is an eight year old girl

Who adores her bouncy curls

She skips and runs all day

And sings the night away.

She is fun and kind to her brothers

And bashful when around others

She doesn't take things for granted

And lives life like it's enchanted.

Small as she may be

She's as wise as an oak tree

Never letting her heart falter

Or letting her decisions get altered

And she might have a hard time with ya

But that is why she is Matilda.
