On one stormy night a fairy set off to visit her grandmother after she said she had surprise for her, all was going well until a burst of wind blew her umbrella away, and pushed her to the ground. When the fairy tried to fly after falling to the ground she found her wing was broke "Now what?" the fairy asked herself when she a mouse crawling around in the storm "Hey little mouse can you give me a ride?" the fairy asked, the mouse carried the fairy through the rain when she saw a cat "Little cat, can you keep me dry from the rain?" she asked and the cat walked over the mouse and kept her dry. As they arrived at the fairies grandmothers she saw her grandmother open the door and invite her "Darling I have something to give you" said her grandmother. As the fairy opened her gift she pulled out a shirt that said Merry "Christmas."

"But it's not Christmas." The fairy said "Oh… Never mind then." Said the grandmother as she walked outside because the storm stopped.
