There is a theory that says that absolute zero
Is fixed and set
At minus 240 degrees Celsius give or take

But , you know
I think I'll bet .
Just for arguments sake

That there's a far far colder place
Colder than a witches heart
More chilling than the Ice-Man's face

Where the living take no part

And there where once great energies fused
Where writhing pelvices pulsed and flared

As two bodies
Surged and in exploding spasms
Seared across the firmament
Leaving in their orgasmic wake

Starbursts , Constellations ,Nebulae
And plumes of cosmic dust
In the ruby colouring of the night
Which faded as rubble after their ferocious coupling ,

Scattered,; flayed across the heaving humid Heavens

And slowly by degrees of dieing events
And the Laws of Thermodynamics
The Universe , provided by decree
That there would be by and in her Nature
A Degree finally so cold they wanted to call it :
" Ice Skid Row "
( but scientists are lofty serious men And So )
They had to settle for the by far
More erudite ; Absolute Zero
