All the Colors in the Sky

The storm halted in its place

Thunder ceased its rolling

And lightning struck its last.

The cloud cleared its way

For the sun and sky,

For the repercussion of the rain.

A nonchalant arch of beautiful colors

Showed its happiness after the rain.

The colors glisten as if moving.

The rainbow seemed to sing

Like music playing from a flute.

I listened to the fiery meaning.

Its surface reverberated off the blue sky.

Showing us colors

Of life, of death, love, and hatred.

ooo intriguing! hmm very interesting how you put those oxymorons together at the end "life" and "death" then "love" and "hatred" and how you used them to say what the colors are. i thought it was an interesting concept to combine the negative with something positive, like a rainbow. it creates a great contrast - and i always find that creating contrast in poetry is wonderful b/c i think it brings more emphasis.
this was very beautiful! you used your words well and took on the challenge nicely ^^
