Dance in the Rain

Rain splashes on your window.

The winds blow harshly,

and the day turns dark and gloomy.

You sit and do nothing,

thinking what a terrible day.

Rain, rain go away.

But while you sit there,

I am dancing in the rain,

catching every drop as it came.

Come dance in the rain with me.

See the brighter side of it.

Come from where you sit.

For once, have some adventure,

for once, don't care about anything.

Come from your hiding place and sing.

Have some fun and excitement.

You are who you are.

Show them your brighter star.

So come into the rain with me,

don't worry about what the world says.

Just dance in the rain; happy and joyous.

Don't worry for I am your shadow,

Where ever you go, whatever you do,

I will be there to encourage you.
