I Still Wait

Another lonely morning.

I wake with dreams of fairy tales,

With false signs of my prince charming.

I’m holding back all my emotions…except one;

My hunger to love and be loved.

-

Another lonely walk,

With visions of true reality,

Of true feelings; passionate and deep.

I’m holding back all my emotions…except one;

My sadness of a dull and empty life.

-

Another lonely night,

I wish for a person

To laugh with me, to walk with me.

I’m holding back all my emotions…except one;

My hope…for love, for adventure…for someone, anyone.
