My sleeves rolled up to my armpits, my fists unclunching at the side of my waist. I pulled my hair behind my neck. I took the weights that layed before me. 40 pounds I believed they were. My wrists ached as my hands clentched the 40 pounds of solid weights. I raised the weights above my head and I felt myself topple over. I fell to the ground and my head hit the ground. I heard laughter but I didn't know where it was coming from. Perhaps, it was all in my head, or I had my eyes closed. I opened my eyes and I was in a blank white room, my room. The weights had disapeared and I was in my room. It was all a crazy dream.
I guess I began with my crazy dreaming when I was a sweet and innocent child. Those were the days when my life was a simple and easy. Now I was a grown 21 year old adult. I was a college student with weak arms and a pale face.
