I am just an average guy who enjoys reading, writing and, on occasion, arithmetic ;) Vocationally, I am a licensed attorney and I live in the NYC metro area. I enjoy theater and the fine arts. I am a history buff and I was a philosophy major in undergrad, so I tend to read more non-fiction these days. I enjoy watching crime reality television and science-fiction movies, on occasion. At (almost) forty years old, I have decided to dedicate myself to my writing with the hopes of maybe someday making a career out of it. A couple of more things about me, let me see...My favorite food is Indian, my favorite author is Bertrand Russell, I love animals (I have one dog, Max) and I have a killer sweet tooth (I try to keep my Dr. Pepper intake to a minimum). Oh yeah, and I love the outdoors! I have been working on a couple of fictional pieces, one of which I will post shortly just to get my feet wet, as they say. I also dabble in poetry on occasion, but I doubt I'll ever show that to anyone...lol. Well, that's it for now, I guess. I'm off to continue writing. Ciao, nice people :)
Now for my recommended reading list:
"Perfection is a Flaw" by Dynamic12. This work is short, concise and excellent in every way. It is an absolute must read for all who suffer from the 'perfectionist' gene (myself being at the top of that list ;)
"Jake and Theodora" by Darkness is My Light. This lovely short story uniquely tells the tale from both sides of the 'romantic coin.' I'm not a big reader of the romance genre, but this story held my interest from start to finish. A+ :)
