A retelling of the prolouge for Romeo and Juliet. This is...
Hi, you can call me Dhole here. For those of you who don't know what Dhole is it's an Indain wild dog. Absolutely fasinating. I kind of connect with them in that if it wasn't for my friends and family I don't know where I would be! Dhole are fairly small animals, but can take down tigers because they work together in huge packs.
Some of the things that I love are reading and writing (of course), horseback riding, skiing, jogging at night, and just hanging out with my friends in treetop hamocks. I don't really have a favorite genre maybe fantasy, but lately I've gotten into some historical fiction and a few other more realistic genres.
When it comes to writing, I like to consider myself fairly capable. I like writing poetry, but haven't really found a certain style yet (which bugs me so much). I would love to write a novel, but have been having some issues with that.
My biggest writing fault is that I have problems with developing a plot. I'll have this great story idea and I'll really start getting into it. I'll have two to three chapters when basically I go brain dead. Where do I go from there? So I tried some short stories. Only problem is, I can't seem to make a story that I think turned out well in only a few chapters!
I am really hard on my own writing, and can seem to satisfy myself. Then when I think I finally have it, someone points out some big flaw or discrepancy and the whole thing starts again. I also tend to procrastinate. I'll have this huge surge of insparation where I'll get a few chapters done, or a few well written poems, and then I just stop. I have nothing going on in the creative section of my brain that I can put down on paper.
