LOVE THE WORLD

The story of the fall of man in genesis is the story of the beginning. But the question we never really ask ourselves is whose beginning? Or what beginning? This story has caused men to feel superior than women, this story has caused many to even hate god the creator himself and this story if not truly understood is never going to let any of us go in life with our heads high.

We must be aware that to every biblical passage there can be a thousand even a million interpretations. But one thing should be for sure, these interpretations should help us advance and never regress. Is the serpent really the devil trying to keep us in bondage? The serpent never walks straight we both know this. Anyway god had created the serpent as cunning. The serpent my dear friends, is also an interpretation for confusion or extensive desire creating chaos in the world. But is confusion or chaos a curse? No, it can't be, the serpent is in fact one of the most important thing if we want the wheel of life to be set in motion, everything in life is desire. Man has a place only between order and chaos. Whoever is confused asks questions, seeks to know, inquires and prays and there must be nothing wrong with that simply because those are the signs that man truly lives. Why is eve tempted first? The part of us trough which we learn in fact is the body. Desires come from the body and they will never stop. Do you see this? God somehow had told Adam that he was to have dominion over all the beasts he had created. Why does Adam not saying anything when he is being seduced? Adam has not gotten the clue for creation. Adam has forgotten that he is higher than any beasts. But like everything there is no effort without error or shortcoming. So the fall from Eden was a necessary step to their development. All of us are the prodigal sons. When we have consumed all our desire without inquiring from the voice of conscience we will find ourselves naked. Adam is still good in a way. At least he can still realize his nakedness. Nakedness is not simply physical, and it is also the symbol of humility whether spiritually, emotionally and physically. Genesis is the beginning of all that we set ourselves to do. There is nothing wrong with people thinking that it was a sexual encounter that turned nasty, or a spiritual lesson misunderstood. In this life no man is better than the other simply because we are all on a learning curve. Jesus once told the Pharisees and the high priests that Moses had written the bible because of them. What was he intending to say? He was reminding them that it is because of their refusal to listen to the voice of conscience and their excessive desire that Moses had to outdo himself and climb the mountain to commune with god. Mountain is a symbol of a hard way or road. How many of us do it today? We refuse to climb the mountain but we tell Moses to speak himself to us not god. Lazy people we are.

"All of us have sinned" is what Paul said in the letter to the apostles. For many years many people have regarded Paul as the anti Christ himself but the guy is saying something very deep, being born in sin is being born in ignorance and he is right. All of us act on desire without ever consulting the conscience in us. When Jesus came, this is what he was telling people to do, to act trough the conscience. This conscience in the son of god given to humankind. It is the Son of God who judge not but help man find the right dose and live a better life. Jesus himself had desire that's why he was tempted in the wilderness. But he made it happen, he looked into it, he remembers his place as the Son of God. No temptation is greater than man: is what Jesus is telling us. The devil is a desire excessively considered. Man is desire but man has a conscience. This is what sets us apart from animals. If we could all acknowledge that we have desires and we could also listen to the son of god in us we would change this world. We will find a way far better than what we have created so far. Paul in fact is right that we are born in sin. Children can be angels but they are like little beasts and their ego is far too big. A child only thinks of himself and never others. A child might be innocent but its ego is far too big and it is why the sacred books are written. We are all the eternal children of god and we are here to grow. Life is a journey of mastery and to live in fact is to learn and to teach. Growing up seems like suffering at times but the reward of growth are far better than anything else in the world.
