With the inevitable and spectacularly, dramatic arrival of the English Awakening and the entirely predictable, vitriolic and self-righteous responses from the usual disparate sources that comprise the self-interested in England in particular maybe borrowing the concept of a clean up of scum but in this specific case from our society generally and our airwaves in particular isn’t a bad idea after all.

So how about starting, in random order, with an excellent exposition of some of our finest in the latter category? Tony Sewell, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Gerard Batten, Sham Sharma, Eve Pollard, Anne Diamond, Gary Shewan, Kit Malthouse, Tim Godwin, David Lammy, Claude Moraes, Teresa May, David Cameron, Enda Brady, Martin Brunt, Lorna Dunkley, Sophie Ridge, David Bowden, Mike McCarthy, Tom Parmeter, Joey Jones, Darren Little, Sam Kiley, Alistair Bunkall, absolutely the entire BBC and the Daily Express of course.
