Stylistically, it was a very interesting piece. I found it a little too preachy, as though they over-reached the parallels between McCarthy-ism and today. I did not have the luxury to read the Graphic Novel first, and had to rely on the commentary to explain the subtle themes, that I'm sure were cut down for pacing. Otherwise, a brilliant take on an era that is hardly touched.... (despite the fact that it was, once more an origin story) See this one, if for nothing else, just to see the Gotham Knight sneak peak.
