Illusion of News
There is a news outfit; who shall remain nameless, but I’ll give you 42 guesses, who says, “We’ll make the news fit our political bent.” They quote the president on the subject of jobs,“You didn’t do that,” meaning without the government. What he actually said was, “You didn’t do that without help, from lots of different areas,” Or something to that effect. Now, anyone getting their news from that station alone is going to miss the truth, the REAL truth. It’s my opinion that kind of selective editing is just wrong. It’s fine to disagree with someone, but don’t distort what they actually said, just to reinforce your personal beliefs. That’s not news, just an illusion of it.
