Isn’t our system promoting anarchism by allowing total liberty to the anti-national elements but at the same time dealing with iron hand activities that restore the pride of nation ?

The System Of Governance In India Has Gone To The Dogs !

Pictures always speak volumes.’A picture is worth a thousand words’ became quite evident when I came to see ‘dark images’ associated with the recent tricolour hosting attempt at Lal Chowk, Srinagar. I call these pictures “dark images” as they not only depict the brutality of police but also reveal the facets of a rotten system. A system that has nothing to offer to law-abiding citizens but has lot to offer to the corrupt souls involved in all sorts of inhuman practices.

It needs to be recalled that activists of BJP, who wished to hoist a flag at the Lal Chowk on this Republic Day to mark the culmination of Ekta Yatrawere not allowed to hoist the flag, citing fears of law and order breakdown”. As per news items, the government machinery breathed a sigh of relief when it managed to keep the activists away from the Lal Chowk.

However, the other side of the story got delayed. After the emergence of these gory images, it’s quite clear that police crossed the line between human decency and barbarism in a mad attempt to prevent the hoisting of the flag. It’s not hard to imagine the plight of people who are behind the bars if that’s the treatment meted out to people engaged in harmless and noble gesture. It’s a real shame that all the human rights protection messages which one often finds posted on the walls of Police Station do mean nothing for the beasts functioning as policemen. It appears that policethis time was inspired by the Pre-Independence British police!

I need to ask: Is attempt to hoist a National Flag a huge offence that should make police go berserk ? What was the need to beat the activists black and blue ? Isn’t our system promoting anarchism by allowing total liberty to the anti-national elements but at the same time dealing with iron hand activities that restore the pride of nation ?

I just don ‘t know how my readers are going to react ? However, after seeing this images, I am but convinced that our system compromising of legislature, executive and judicial branches has gone to the dogs.
