Not many people today care about what's really going on around them. They may have friends, best friends, acquaintances, coworkers, clients, students, or teachers. But do they really understand what each individual is personally going through in their lives? Then again, like as if any of us have any time at all to investigate others when we've got so much going on in our own lives. For example, do you know when a loved one is going through crises? Or for that matter do you care? Sadly, but true, not many give up more than two minutes of their time to show a little empathy. I only know about three people who are naturally empathetic, sadly, excluding myself. That is because I have been going through crises for a year and a half now, so I pretty much tend to drown in my own self-pity. That's bad, huh? Well, unforunately, I am going to tell you what is bothering me so much. I would first like to expose the medical doctors and their nonchalant attitude towards so many of their patients with serious illness. I have a condition called "INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS", which is a chronic inflammation of the lining of the bladder. To be specific, anything in our diets can trigger spasmodic reaction in the bladder muscles and genital region, causing "flare ups'-exreme annoyance and severe pain. Patients with IC find themselves going to the bathroom up to sixty times in twenty-four hours. And this is me, most of the time. I also have insomnia and I have FIBROMYALGIA, which isa flu-like bodyache that consistently affects me and has gotten worse with time. I wake up everyday feeling like I've been run over by a Semi. Yeah I know... But it's all true. So this is me, but there are millions of others in America alone who suffer just the same. I have discovered recently that a high Sodium diet can lead to IC, and it's best to limit your sodium intake. If anyone of you poets, or writers, have any information, or just need to talk to someone about this condition, because you've been suffering as well, please comment or write back to me anytime. Because of my dealings with these conditions, I've decided to inform everyone, that this is why sometimes I write about dark emotional feelings. But I get inspired by anything really, and I have a great sense of humor, that comes out once in a while to lighten everthing up around me....so in conclusion, this is just a short to the point article for everyone to become familiar with underlying illnesses and the toll it takes on your soul, just for a simpler understanding...
