It was like any other school morning. As per the usual rant, I got in the bus and went on my usual place. The bus proceeded and I looked out of the window and felt something was going on wrong. And just then when our bus driver announced that he would turn around the bus and drop us home as it was official holiday because of the terror attacks in Mumbai .And I knew it. As usual there was all the squealing and shouting because of the holiday. I took this in an undeclared holiday and total pleasure.3 years back then I had no idea of what was happening in Mumbai. But when I sit here and about it I don't recollect the happiness or the pleasure of the holiday but a sense of grief spreads through as many innocent people lost their life. The terrorists rampaged around with their AK47's in their hands. Many brave policemen lost their lifes. These people managed to curb what could be a threat to the whole country but they managed to break into the safety of Mumbai and leave the people shaken to their roots. This was a damage to India and I regret to say that some people are still roaming freely who were involved in this. I salute to the people who fought against the miscreants and safeguarded our safety.
