ok first i love you all twilight fans but i totally despise  the series, it's second to  harry porter to my  hatred list.

i find twilight to boring, whinniy, simple and   to me it totally destroyed the vampire lore.

i must admit it has making  of good love story but i find isabella  whines too much  and come on  if edward was a human   she'll consider

him a stalker and have him arrested!

ok vampires sparkling in the light are u serious ?that totally destroys the mystery and power of the vampire

give me  a break.

the language is too simple i could read this book in  30 minutes. i must say stephanie meyer is a good writer but  this  series is beyond ridicolus in my opinion.

i can understand why teenage girls are so obbessed with this , i admit i was excited when it first came out but now  after reading two books and  i am starting the third  the excitment has wanned off.

I'm so hurt you said you hate Harry Potter. As a writer you should be able to appreciate the genius behind Harry Potter. And no if Edward was human they would still be together because if you read it all you'll see that they're soulmates. And she's not whiney, besides not every character can be a Mary Sue character so she gives her insecurities duh. Flaws come in all shapes and sizes and Bella's flaws if anyone can really call it that are what makes her so perfect. The fact that your interest is wanning on the third tells me you've been barely reading and schimming more than anything. YOu really have to dive deep. You have to be bella.

i have been reading it's my opinion if i hate harry potter and twilight that's what i dislike about u twilight fanatics if someone doesn't like you automatically think they haven't been reading when after all the novels don't appeal to them. i don't believe in soulmates

hi! princess. every coin has two sides. and i can understand ur point of view about disliking twilight. everyoe is entitled to their point of view.

but look at the number of teens into TWILIGHT and the amount of copies being sold. does that tell a tale of its own. there is mass hysteria and the movie is simply superb.

tell me, why did only harry potter and twilight hold on to the imagination of the young adults when there r scores of other good books around. there must be something in them to sway an entire generation.

liking or disliking them is my personal opinion but i must say, they were a pleasure to read when i read them. i enjoyed them. for i bonded with the authors and the characters. and i can't say meyer and rowling r great writers except these works struck a chord with me. their next work may not do the same.

through this essay. i've got to know ur view point. i'm sure, u'll find a good vampire story up to ur liking. let me know aboout that. lol. ;-)

i know there are two sides of a coin but i just think it's too simple, i love vampire stories anne rice is a good vampire novelist. i just find harry potter and twilight to be boring and simple. i know there are number of teens into the series but like i said it's my opinion. i just think vampires sparkling in the light is stupid and it turn me off cuz i love vampires. this completely destroys the vampire lore and mystery but like i said i love all twilight fans

I AGREE WITH YOU HONEY...FINALLY SOMEONE IS WITH ME....
I AGREE WITH U WORD BY WORD.....
i don't care how many copies were sold out or homw many read it or if the movie was super hit....or not....

there r many nice movies which have gone down the drain just because TEEn discretion and this is where PARENTS should step in....
i have seen HArry Porter part 1 and even kriish has...
but i must say 'I did not like it a bit".....finally what is the morale of the story....

An imaginary plot and a world of hollow creature....and faces which are scary ....

I don't deny the genius behind it but in the long run, that is NOT going to sell....MARK THE WORDS OF A MOTHER....I would never ask kriish NOT to read HARRY PORTER....He will himself NOT read it....i am sure...

I love reality and everything related to it....

FASHION COMES AND GOES...BUT TRUTH never goes away...right?? And TRUTH is that 'fiction' would never stand the wind of truth...it's a matter of one generation only....

thank you very much

Totally agree with you on everything, except the Harry Potter part. To me, it is just mind boggling how so many people can be obsessed with this book about sparkling vampires and a love that is based on the fact that the guy likes the smell of the girls blood. Really. How can this become a substantial relationship? About ten years from now, all of the Twilight fans are going to look back on this book, and be like "Wow. I was obsessed with this?" So basically, Twilight fans, go read some Anne Rice. I beg of you.

No way! I see what you mean, I know I hate the sparkly vampire thing and all, you know, that does destroy the whole magic, but this story was aimed at teenage girls, and if you aren't one, you'd find this book boring.

And me? I really hated Harry Potter, I mean, I was into it at first but then, it's just to British for my taste. I loved how J.K. Rowling spun out the entire plot so intricatly, but I hate how Harry gets everything perfect (He survived a deadly wizard is awesome enough, cheers! But then, he goes to a perfect wizarding school to bethe perfect person and perfectly perfect everything, surviving that evil wizard once, twice, seven or more times! And in the end, he kills the damn wizard).

But I still stay loyal to Twilight nomatter what.
