ME: Why did you select your pen name as" The Darkest Angel"???

Darkest Angel: Considering I mainly write things in the horror genre, I wanted my pen name to reflect that. I'm not particularly religious, but the idea of angels always interested me, especially dark and/or fallen ones. 'The Darkest Angel' leaves a bit of mystery to my character which is always needed when you're prepared to read something scary.

ME: I see that at a very young age you have written an horror novel.........since how long have you been thinking of the idea and have written it???

Darkest Angel: I've been writing dark stories since I could pick up a pen; I believe the first story I wrote was about a giant snow dog eating a lost hiker. As for the ideas based in my story, I've had the idea of the 'Darkset Warrior' since I was about 11. For those of you counting at home, that's about six, almost seven years. I've basically been running a sort of 'trial and error' course in those years and I've probably written about eight or nine failed attempts with the same creature, just a different premise. Finally I've come up with an idea that I'm happy with and that's why I'm FINALLY sharing it on the internet.

ME: Since you love to act which horror would you love to act in and which character????

Darkest Angel: Now that's a tough one. I've always loved the classic horrors, but a movie I have always wanted to be a part of would have to be the 'Scream' movies. From watching behind the scenes footage, it looks like they have a brilliant time on set and I'd definitely want to be one of the characters that ends up being stabbed by 'Ghost Face.' Haha, I'm strange. ^.^

ME: When you were a child where you scared/love monsters in your closet... If yes what was your monsters name???

Darkest Angel: I wasn't afraid of the dark and so I suppose I never really got scared of a monster in my closet, however, Iwasintroduced to horror movies at a very young age. Because of this, I used to go through a routine of different monsters I was afraid of. The one that stuck the most was probably the 'Boogeyman' and yes, he did live inside a kid's closet. The fear only lasted a week, but what a scary week that was!

ME:What was the craziest stuff you have ever done apart from the nicolas cage army dressing???

Darkest Angel: Well I like to orientate my life around crazy stuff. To name a few, I've partaken in random conga dances through the street with my friends, I led a ghost hunt through the basement of my school... a few weeks before we went to the MCM Expo where we used our Nicolas Cage masks, a friend and I tested them out by wearing them and standing on the corner of a street and danced around. A lot of people honked at us and one guy cheered out of his window as he drove past. This year we're thinking of wearing group masks of either Nigel Thornberry or perhaps even Leonardo DiCaprio doing his famous 'skipping in the distance' meme. If anyone reading this lives in the UK and goes to the Expos, maybe you'll spot us there. :)

ME: I like that quote "I'm not crying,I'ts just raining on my face"is there any other quote you like and what is it???

Darkest Angel: I'm a big fan of Dr. Seuss quotes as his writing was a big part of my youngest years. One I particularly like is: "I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living."

ME: If I had placed a cheese sandwitch and a cheese cake which one would you choose???

Darkest Angel: Cheese cake! Nom!

ME: Who is your favourite hollywood horror actress???

Darkest Angel: Oh, that's a good one. I don't really havea favourite as such, but I like Neve Campbell who's the lead actress in 'Scream' and as for directors I am a MASSIVE fan of Wes Craven, I've seen nearly all his work.Oh andDel Toro! Pan's Labrynth, the Orphanage and Devil's Backbone are all brilliant movies, I highly recommend them!

ME: If you find a time machine and can see your future...what would you want to see??

Darkest Angel: I would love to see the future of the human race, I'm betting we make contact with aliens. If I could go ANYWHERE in time and space however,I'dnever be able to pickone place. I'd be like the Doctor, travelling, seeing the Universe and casually saving people's lives.

ME: Where do you see yourself after 2 year from now in Booksie???

Darkest Angel: I'm hoping to become more popular on Booksie, I'm working on a few poems and short stories that I hope to publish in the near future. I've always wanted to publish something for real and I'm hoping my experience on Booksie will make this dream become a reality, writing is a big part of my life and I could never give it up.

Thank you so much " Darkest Angel" for sparing someof your valuable time with and sharing your feelings with us today, really do appreciate from my heart for this interview it means the world to me....I hope all your wishes come true and you head towards a very bright future....Thank you once again...Good luck...
