hearts filled for a love

a black man, a white woman,
two guys or two girls,
are loving and caring and go on
while you're daring
to stop your heart
with hate for a thing
you dont understand.

Great poem! It really made me think.
I agree with you wholeheartedly about the love of same sex partners and biracial partners. It isn't immoral because of the gender and racial identifiers.
Can a love be impure? Good Question.
A love of hatred, perhaps, or a love of making others live in fear, or of bullying, or of being in power, or of taking life but ....a love of another person?
I think, unfortunately, yes. The idea of unconditional love, where there are no expectations for the other person to fulfill some need of our own is always pure, a perfect love. But perfect love is an ideal and is seldom attained by imperfect human beings. An example of an obviously impure love might be a pedophile's love of children when it is acted on, and victimizes the loved child.
