An opinion about the slaughter in Newtown and the gun law.

They said there were liberties;

The spirit of a nation,

That allowed us to arm,

To carry weapons that take,

Lives within a fleeting second;

The lives also having liberties.

So people nodded, clapped,

Chanted the word " Liberty "

" Liberty " written on an old parchment.

That was the truth, the divine right.

The everything that mattered.

They were blindfolded with ecstasy,

With the illusion of freedom,

Of the phantom of a free society,

Where widows who lost husbands cried,

Children who lost parents cried,

Parents who lost children cried.

They cried, cried, cried,

They died, died, died,

Creating a symphony,

That they called proudly America.

There is no liberty,

That makes you cry;

That causes your die.
