I believe in what I see
No more, no less, that’s enough for me
I don’t believe in fate or luck
A convenient way to pass the buck
Guardian angel watching over you?
Take responsibility for what you do.
I don’t believe the cards are dealt
Or your destiny is set
I don’t believe it’s in the stars
How silly can you get?
I believe in family and friends
And thinking for myself
Of working hard, and enjoying life
And earning any wealth
So take your future in your own hands
Don’t sit and wait to see
Grab your life by the scruff of the neck
And be what you want to be.
