Wouldn’t it be strange
If all the world reversed
If all went left to right
If day turned in to night
If black turned in to white?
Wouldn’t it be weird
If our feet grew from our head
If the first letter was zed
If we breathed after we were dead?
Wouldn’t it be mad
If the kids were in control
If the desert were all cold
Streets were really made of gold?
So its better how things are
No need to wish upon a star
Cos the world’s a perfect place
We’re all friendly, every race
We don’t fight, or kill, or hate
We all have food upon our plate
Nothing bad ever happens here
Yeah, we all live life without fear
We’re best friends, me and you
Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Jew
All people of the world at peace
Caring, sharing, one big feast
I’m so glad night follows day
Cos don’t we all live the perfect way?
