Catullus was a famous poet at the time of Julius Caesar.
He was from a very prominent family and produced many poems which have been translated into English. He was known for his erotic poems that dealt with both hetero and homosexuality. He wrote a poem about the necessity of young maidens to keep their virginity....but the lifestyle he espoused was in sharp contrast to his views.

O Catullus was a hypocrite who lived in ancient times

He wrote erotic poetry and wanted to educate mankind

On how THEY should act, while he indiscreetly did want he wanted

He told maidens to be virgins, not to lose their virginity

That apparently meant everyone else, but not ME!

For he seduced me while I was young and introduced me to the arts

That no good married woman knows, only the tarts!!!!!

When it came time for me to marry, I asked him how I could explain

The fact that I would not bleed or hurt on my wedding night

Oh that is easy said Catullus, that fiery fox told me what to do

Get a chicken heart - put it high in your cunt - act demure

Get your new husband drunk and shriek with pain

The nuptials were held - my parents so proud of me

As I was the most precious flower of the family

The only girl - betrothed to the best family's only son

A triumph for me and a large, large dowry for them

The Wedding Night was at hand and I cast my eyes down

As we reached the nuptial chamber, I started to tremble

My mother said - it is your duty to bear many children

Obey your husband and do as he asks

Do not bring us shame in any way

She brought me to the bed and helped undress me

Then my husbands father lead him to the room

Saying may we enjoy ourselves and may we be fruitful

I dare not look upon my husband except to say

He was hung like a horse and drunk as a bee

Took one look and was all over me

It was clear he loved my body as it was covered in kisses

I tried to resist for this was his expectation

And would not part my legs until he forced them for me

He did not warm me up but went in cold

Put his huge member where it was supposed to be first

And rammed me so hard I thought I would burst

I cried crocodile tears and shrieked that it hurt

To which he laughed and said to me

You have a reputation that precedes you

For the poet Catullus has bragged to friend and foe

How he deflowered the best virgin in the land

And how she was to be married to the Son of a Powerful Man

He reached into my cunt and brought out the heart

The bed was covered in chicken blood

My husband laughed and said oh good!!!!

My mother will be relieved and my father too

When we show them the sheets that proves

You to be the Vestal Virgin you were imitating

But my sweet young wife you are too sly

And I do not like initiating scared Virgins

So now that I know that you know what to do

Go ahead and show me what Catullus showed you

Thus my new husband did not throw me back to my parents

Nor did his parents ever know

What a good time was had

On our first night

For he was a strong and fervent lover

And I was very fertile and nine months later

Brought forth the first born son

To be followed later by nine children more

So Catullus - see - not every man wants a virgin

But all men want a woman who satisfies them in bed

Finally both families want grandchildren

And in this way I served them all and gave them

What was expected of me and what they wanted!!!!!
