Like the {sometimes} pleasant nightmare that it was, the 1980s represent a seemingly neverending story. Walkmans have become I-Pods, Atari 2600 has become an X-Box, Star Wars made a {pathetic} comeback, and Madonna is sitll making albums. {CDS}.
And in our cineplexes, we also continue to be haunted by films that reflect just how much the 1980s influence has lived on well into the 90s and beyond:
The Fog / 1980 - The Fog / 2005
Friday The 13th / 1980 - Freddy VS Jason / 2003
Sleepaway camp / 1983 - The Crying Game / 1994
The Hitcher / 1986 - Joy Ride / 2001
Day Of The Dead / 1985 - Land Of The Dead / 2005
Yes, The aliens, predators, Jason, Michael, Freddy, Chucky and Pinhead are still ''doing their thing.'' And, don't forget the 1990's wave of serial killer flicks!
Will it ever end?!!
Let's hope not!
